That is an unusual claim, so the rest of this page explains exactly what the site does use instead, and where the boundary sits.

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser and then sends back with every subsequent request to that site. This site sets none, and therefore sends none back.
If your browser shows a cookie from this domain, something is wrong and we would like to hear about it.
Local storage, which is not a cookie
The meal planner uses your browser's local storage to remember your weekly plan and budget. Local storage is often confused with cookies, and the distinction matters here: a cookie is transmitted to the server on every request, while local storage is never transmitted anywhere at all. It sits on your device and only JavaScript running on this page can read it.
Exactly one key is stored, holding your planned meals and your budget number. No identifier, no email, nothing about who you are.

Third-party requests
One third-party request is made on a normal page load: the typeface is served from Google's font CDN. Google therefore sees your IP address and basic browser details for that request, as any server does for any file it serves. Google does not set a cookie for a font request, but the request itself is a disclosure and we would rather say so than not.
Images, the menu data and the downloadable PDF are all served from this site directly. Nothing is hotlinked from anywhere else.

Controlling storage yourself

Blocking site data for this domain will stop the meal planner remembering your plan between visits; everything else on the site will work exactly as before, because nothing else depends on it.
